Tomato and Leek Soup

Tangy and full of flavor, perfect when paired with grilled cheese


Tomato soup recipe starts a 3:50

Ingredients :

  • 1,5L of Tomato Juice (preferably homemade)

  • 750 ml of Vegetable Broth (watch my video to know how to make it)

  • 3 to 4 Leek

  • 1 bulb Garlic minced

  • 2 to 3 Shallot minced or 1 diced onion

  • 3 to 4 Carrots diced

  • 1 cup soup Noodle of choice

  • Salt Pepper

  • Maple Syrup (to reduce the acidity)

  • Additional seasoning of choice


Steps :

  1. Cut all the veggies to desired size.

  2. Cook the Leek till soften a little

  3. Add carrots and celery and cook until all veggies are partially cooked.

  4. Add the tomato juice and vegetable broth, spices, maple syrup and bring to a boil

  5. Add the soup noodles and cook until soften.

  6. Rectify the seasoning then serve hot.
