This recipe bring me back to my childhood!
Ingredients :
4 to 5 cup of chicken (either rotisserie style or boiled)
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup flour
1 cup frozen peas
1 carrot cut in small dices
2 to 3 cup of milk
1/2 tea spoon cayenne pepper
1/2 tea spoon nutmeg
2 table spoon chives
salt pepper to taste
Steps :
Cut/prep the chicken
Melt the butter and start cooking the peas and the carrots
Once the butter is all melted add the flour and mix until well combined
Cook the flour for 1 to 2 min
Slowly add the milk in in small amount until all the flour is well dissolved in the sauce
Add the chicken and seasoning
Serve in a puff pastry (cooked with the box instructions) and mashed potatoes
