Crispy Tofu with Creamy Spicy Peanut Sauce

Rich, Creamy, Sweet and salty.


Do half the sauce recipe if doing for 1 block of tofu, or you'll have leftovers


Ingredients:

Crispy Tofu:

  • 1 Block of Tofu

  • 2 Tbsp Sesame oil

  • 1 Tbsp Soy sauce

  • Spicy korean seasoning (or any seasoning of choice)

  • Salt and Pepper


Sauce:

  • 1 Tbsp Sesame oil

  • 2 BIG scoop of Peanut Butter

  • 3 Tbsp Maple Syrup

  • 1 Tbsp Sweet Chili Sauce

  • 2 Tsp Garlic Chili Sauce

  • 1 Tsp Sriracha

  • 1 Tsp Hoisin Sauce (the blue dragon one)

  • 2 - 3 tbsp soy sauce

  • Salt and Pepper

  • 1/2 cup of water (only put what you need)


Steps:

Tofu:

  1. Cut the tofu in 1 inch cubes.

  2. Season with oil, soy sauce, spices and salt and pepper.

  3. Add in the air fryer compartment and cook at 200C for 15 min mixing every 5 min, or until crispy.


Sauce:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a pan at medium heat.

  2. Add water as needed.

  3. Rectify the seasoning as needed.
